Responsibilities, However Not Limited To

Scheduling, routing and confirming customer pick up and deliveries

Verify driver paperwork is correct

Work closely with Drivers to coordinate pick up and drop offs to maintain maximum productivity and efficiency

Ensure all job assignments are properly logged into system and updated accordingly

Informs store management or personnel of any customer complaints or requests in a timely manner.

Follows Standard Operating Procedures while carrying out the responsibilities of position.

Complies with all federal, state and local laws.

Collects payment from customers on COD orders and records customer information according to Standard Operating Procedures.

Verifies order details and obtains customer signature on store copy of delivery ticket.

Follows directions or uses a map to locate delivery addresses or locations efficiently.

Report to Driver Manager and Sales Team any refused (partial or full orders) and any orders that can’t be delivered.

Review daily invoices and optimize route based on efficiency and customer needs.

Responsible for delivering tap handles, ABC forms, etc. as necessary.

Perform DOT and company mandated pre-trip inspection, complete and turn in paperwork to driver office.

Open truck bay doors for a quick check of loaded product ensuring minimum shifting in transit; lock bay doors.

3/4 ton, 1-ton, or Semi truck with trailer

Clean MVR for past 3 years

Comply with all DOT and state laws and regulations

Run the Hot Shots and assigned routes on a timely basis as needed

Charge, clean, date and rewrap rotations

Charge, test, clean, and date adjustment batteries

Accurately complete reports and claims

Must have a clean driving record

Must successfully complete all Company training and certification requirements regarding equipment usage, including obtaining McCoy’s forklift certification

Can by reason of training, experience or both, safely operate the type of commercial motor vehicle he/she drives

Is physically qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle in accordance with FMCSR requirements

QUALIFICATIONS FOR ALL DRIVER POSITIONS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Has successfully completed a driver's road test or has presented a copy of his/her commercial driver's license to the motor carrier

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics

Maintain and repair truck and trailer equipment as needed or report any such repairs to local management

Perform other related duties as assigned by the Management team.

At least high school education; or up to six months related experience or training

CDL Class A and Hazmat certification required

This job's specific vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. Specialized skills training/certification may be required. Generally 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.

Performs routine inspections of vehicles and supplies to ensure road safety.

Plans route to and from customers' businesses and adjusts for traffic and/or construction.

Ensures that manifests are complete and accurate.

Delivers merchandise to customers and contacts customers if they are not present.

Loads truck with daily merchandise to be delivered and unloads merchandise for customers.

25 years of age with experience is hotshot driving

1-ton truck (F350, F450, RAM 3500, RAM 4500 or similar)

40 ft goose neck trailer

Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record

Be able to work independently

Follow DOT rules and guidelines

We are seeking reliable independently contracted drivers to transport loads across the United States.

You decide your schedule and we'll regularly provide loads for you to transport.

Pickup truck with gooseneck flatbed trailer required.

Pay: $1,000.00 - $6,000.00 per week

Work Location: On the road

Successful completion of CPR and First Aid certification as soon as practicable after hire.
