Must have a clean driving record

Forklift experience a plus, but not a requirement

Experience in handling building materials is a plus

Operates forklift and other material handling equipment to pick, load, unload and store materials in the yard

Performs customer deliveries utilizing Class C equipment

Responsibilities, However Not Limited To

Scheduling, routing and confirming customer pick up and deliveries

Verify driver paperwork is correct

Work closely with Drivers to coordinate pick up and drop offs to maintain maximum productivity and efficiency

Ensure all job assignments are properly logged into system and updated accordingly

I KNOW HOW TO TRUCK INC SPECIALIZES IN OVER DIMENSIONAL LOADS AND EXPEDIATED FREIGHT.

START DATE MUST BE IMMEDIATE OR WITHIN A REASONABLE DATE.

HOME TIME EVERY 15-30 DAYS.

Performs routine inspections on vehicles using vehicle inspection form and reports any immediate safety concern to management

Listens to and resolves delivery concerns in the field and escalates issues if beyond their skill set

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

One to three months of related experience and/or training

Successfully delivers plumbing products to customers’ home and/or other specified locations

Documents all pertinent information with regard to daily delivery paperwork for accurate record keeping

We do currently have 3 trailers available for lease, $300 weekly, Deposit required

We are OTR, drivers out 10-14 days home 3 days

or out 3 weeks home for a week.

Pay: $3,500.00 - $8,500.00 per week

Proven experience operating a hot shot truck and transporting time-sensitive and urgent deliveries

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Good communication skills, both verbal and written

Transport time-sensitive and urgent deliveries to various locations

Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to minimize accidents and injuries

Inspect equipment and loads to ensure that they are secure and properly loaded

Performs other duties as directed by management

Knowledge of load permits and state and federal truck driving regulations

Knowledge of and ability to safely secure loads for transport

Must possess organizational and problem-solving skills

Safely travel to site; load and secure load onto trailer

Ensure load securing equipment is maintained properly

Be able to maintain excellent customer service and communication skills with customers, co-workers, management, and vendor partners.

Knowledge and experience to use GPS navigation systems.

State licensed and able to drive CLASS C trucks classification. Clean driver record (must meet Driver SOP requirements).

Must meet and remain qualified in accordance with DCL Driver SOP requirements.

Summary of Experience and Education

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent combined education and work experience

Maintain all required certifications by DOT, OSHA and company safety standards.

Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving techniques

Ability and skill to operate all equipment needed to carry out assigned duties

Provide outstanding customer service during delivery operations.

Provide a well -stocked and organized warehouse and assist Route Managers.

12 Month 20-26ft Box truck delivery experience

Forklift Experience preferred, not required

This position requires 12 months stake bed truck experience only!

Must be 21 or Older

Must meet applicable driving record and accident record

No moving violations in the last 36 months
