Thoroughly document and/or code the claim file and complete all claim closure and related activities in the assigned claims management system.

Completion of the Insurance Institute of America's: General Insurance Program, Associate in Claims, Associate in Management or equivalent

Complete ACG Claim Representative Training Program or demonstrate equivalent knowledge or experience

Manage time, organize and plan work load and responsibilities

Associate degree in Business Administration, Insurance or a related field or the equivalent in related work experience

Demonstrate effective communication skills (verbal and written)

Effective time management and organizational skills.

Ensure retailer is meeting Full and Available goals through effective management of Self-Service equipment, including optimization as needed.

Merchandises the Hoosier Lottery products through inventory and plan-o-gram management following all guidelines established in the Monthly Execution Guide.

Provides insight regarding lottery products delivering feedback to sales management.

Basic accounting, bookkeeping or record keeping skills.

Must be able to speak clearly and persuasively with strong interpersonal skills.

Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated through work experience, participation in extra-curricular activities and/or community involvement

Identifies non-complex claims for one-touch claim adjudication upon intake

Determines the type and extent of loss and ensures the claim is consistent with all reported facts

Reports coverage denials to manager.

General knowledge of contract language, including regulatory and policy differences, legal liability and general insurance policy coverage

Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, and the capacity to multi-task in a structured work environment, are required

Associates degree or equivalent training plus generally two or more year's auto non-injury claims handling experience

Requires frequent coverage research and analysis resulting in final coverage decision.

Negotiates coverage and liability decisions with insured, claimant, claimant carrier.
