Civilian Jailer Jobs in Indiana

Duties, responsibilities and actions may change at any time with or without notice.

May exercise functional and technical supervision over less experienced staff.

Adheres to City attendance and punctuality policies demonstrating dependability.

Cleans the facility and insures the equipment is well maintained and in working order; maintains the supplies associated with the facility.

Answers general inquiries from the public in person or by phone.

Takes reports and information regarding criminal offenses and generated reports in police computer system.

Creates and manages an Intelligence database, including input, processing, and output procedures, in an automated data processing or computer environment.

Watch aware cameras and other available camera systems to gather case related intelligence.

Work with a staff of crime and intelligence analysts who perform analysis of trends, patterns and problems for police staff.

Oversee the retrieval and analysis of various crime, calls for service, arrest and other data generated throughout the department.

May need to work nonstandard business hours, day, middle, or night shift.

May also be required to work weekends and be called in.
