B.S. or equivalent education in related fields

Collaborate with the Cinematics Director and game development team to establish goals and delivery timelines for all in-game cinematics

Proven technical skills in character rigging for 3D production.

Experience with a Performance Capture pipeline.

Demonstrates experience developing animation tools (layout tools are a plus).

Experience with Maya, MotionBuilder, and other relevant packages.

Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

This IS A REMOTE CONTRACT POSITION

Provide mentorship and guidance to junior animators, fostering a culture of continuous learning and skill development in lighting and VFX.

4+ years of experience in the game publishing, television, or film industry;

Experience in Maya / Unreal Engine / other equivalent 3D programs;

A deep understanding of the role lighting and VFX play in shaping narratives and enhancing viewer experiences;

Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.

Proven experience in film editing, with a concentration on the integration of lighting and VFX components;

Collaborate with the creative team to understand project goals and requirements.

8-10 years of experience as a Motion Designer/Editor or Animator with a strong portfolio.

Advanced skills in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Figma.

Advanced skills in Maxon Cinema 4D/Redshift

Solid understanding of emerging AI capabilities.

Experience doing animation or motion design for anybody in the tech industry.

5+ years of experience in the games industry as an artist, or equivalent work in a related field.

Online Portfolio demonstrating Cinematic skills and/or technical implementation skills in a game engine.

Express storytelling through in-game cinematics and interactive moments with camera, staging and character animation

Set the Cinematic quality bar and process

Work with our engineers and technical artist to define and improve our Cinematic pipeline and tools.

Help direct animations created by internal artists and external co-developers to get the best performance for cinematics.

3+ years of experience in the games industry as an artist, or equivalent work in a related field.

Online Portfolio demonstrating Cinematic skills and/or technical implementation skills in a game engine.

Express storytelling through in-game cinematics and interactive moments with camera, staging and character animation

Set the Cinematic quality bar with your personal work.

Work with our engineers and our technical artist to define and improve our Cinematic pipeline.

Implement animations created by internal artists and external co-developers to get the best performance for cinematics.

Knowledge of production process for creating custom video game cinematics

A strong demo reel which shows an eye for detail, 3D camera skills, and excellent timing.

Experience in game engine video capture and utilizing debug tools.

Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop)

Self-motivated team player with excellent communication & interpersonal skills

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in film/games or related field
