Cinematic Animator Jobs

Location: Remote, PST working hours highly preferred
Job Type: W2 contract
Compensation Range: $58 - 62 per hour
Start Date: ASAP

We are looking for a skilled Motion Designer/Editor with advanced animation abilities to join our Technology client's team on a short-term project!

As a Motion Designer/Editor, you will be instrumental in creating visually captivating motion graphics, animations and videos that enhance our brand's visual storytelling. Your expertise in animating UI elements and problem-solving skills will be crucial in delivering seamless user experiences. You're an ideal candidate if you have a Motion Design background in the tech industry and have familiarity with emerging AI capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Create/model/illustrate visual assets.
• Work closely with design and development teams to integrate motion graphics seamlessly.
• Create storyboards from existing scripts.
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand project goals and requirements.
• Stay up-to-date with design trends, animation techniques, and emerging technologies.
• Seek out and acquire appropriate footage and music from content providers.
• Ensure brand consistency and adhere to style guidelines across projects.
• Animate in After Effects and Cinema 4D using advanced animation techniques to add life and fluidity to static designs.
• Edit and mix audio.
• Edit in Premiere Pro, iterating based on client feedback.

Qualifications:

• Advanced skills in Maxon Cinema 4D/Redshift
• Solid understanding of emerging AI capabilities.
• Worked in AI realm before.
• Associates or bachelor's degree in Animation, Motion Graphics, or a related field preferred.
• Solid understanding of design principles, typography, and composition.
• Advanced skills in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Figma.
• Education: Bachelors
• Experience level: Experienced
• Preferred (Degrees or certifications, green flags, all other):
  • Worked in AI realm before.
  • Experience doing animation or motion design for anybody in the tech industry.
• 8-10 years of experience as a Motion Designer/Editor or Animator with a strong portfolio.
• Experience doing animation or motion design for anybody in the tech industry.
