Overview Child Care is a profession that involves providing care and supervision for children in a variety of settings, including daycare centers, family homes, and schools. Child Care workers are responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of children in their care, as well as providing educational and recreational activities. Detailed Job Description Child Care workers are responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for children in their care. This includes supervising children, providing meals and snacks, and engaging in educational and recreational activities. They must also ensure that the children are following safety guidelines and are not engaging in any dangerous activities. Additionally, Child Care workers must be able to recognize signs of abuse or neglect and report them to the appropriate authorities.
