Purpose
To care for and teach young children in a child care environment. Responsible for providing a variety of functions in care giving and teaching in a child care learning environment.
No Sponsorship
Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer without sponsorship.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise and care for children in the 3-5 year age range both indoors and outdoors.
  • Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
  • Supervise assistant.
  • Communicate daily with parents.
Required Qualifications
High school graduation or GED. One year of experience working with young children in a licensed child care center.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications
Hands on experience leading 0-5 year olds. Formal training in a child related field. Previous experience working in an accredited center. Previous lead teacher experience teaching pre-k. Stable work history. Bilingual a plus.
Salary Range
$44,000
