Assigning and evaluating assignments that align with the course description and course learning outcomes, and providing timely feedback to students;

Holding regular weekly office hours on - campus;

Hire, manage and mentor a department of world-class chemists working across multiple multi-disciplinary product development and advanced research teams

Individually and through your team, drive innovations in core chemistries and chemistry processes that enable novel product capabilities and internal capabilities

Contribute to establishment and maintenance of strong lines of communication, knowledge-sharing and collaboration between R&D departments

PhD or proven, significant depth of experience in a core chemistry discipline or a relevant applied chemistry field

Proven ability to manage functional or project-based teams of 10 or more scientists in a matrix environment

A working knowledge of molecular biology assays/protocols, preferably utilizing next-generation sequencing

Communicate results to co-workers and management in both oral and written manner and assist in the preparation of patent applications

Ph.D. in synthetic organic chemistry, a combination of relevant education and applicable job experience may be considered

Firsthand knowledge of advanced synthesis, purification and spectroscopic techniques utilized in the preparation and characterization of complex organic molecules

Effective oral and written English communication skills

Previous experience in oncology research

Design and execute syntheses of complex organic molecules on a milligram to multi-gram scale with some guidance
