They are responsible for designing, constructing, and managing projects related to civil engineering. This includes roads, bridges, buildings, and other infrastructure. They must be knowledgeable in a variety of engineering disciplines, including structural, geotechnical, and environmental engineering. Detailed Job Description A CEI Civil Engineer is responsible for providing engineering services to clients in the construction industry. They must be knowledgeable in a variety of engineering disciplines, including structural, geotechnical, and environmental engineering. They must be able to design, construct, and manage projects related to civil engineering. This includes roads, bridges, buildings, and other infrastructure. They must be able to work with other professionals, such as architects, surveyors, and contractors, to ensure the successful completion of projects. They must be able to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications. They must be able to use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create plans and drawings. They must be able to analyze data and make recommendations based on their findings. They must be able to inspect construction sites to ensure that all safety regulations are being followed.
