3 + years of experience with current automotive mechanical and diagnostics

automotive experience is a must!

Experience and/or working knowledge of estimating and total loss evaluation systems.

2+ years of relevant adjusting and physical damage appraisal experience.

Current knowledge of property damage repair process.

Knowledgeable of Xactimate estimating platform.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Computer literacy in a Windows operating environment.

Manage 100 -150 casualty claims on assignment.

Evaluate damages and pay benefits as prescribed by law and/or Marriott policies and procedures.

Monitor and actively manage WC medical treatment with the goal of minimizing disability. Consult Occupational Health Services as necessary.

Comply with Marriott Casualty Claims Policy and Procedure Manual requirements.

Effectively utilize the Valley Oaks System (iVOS) to manage all claims electronically.

Entry-level position. Demonstrated track record as a claims representative and/or demonstration of skills and potential to be a claims adjuster.

(3) years of experience in claim service area within Managed Care Organizations, Insurance, or related fields is required by the incumbent.

Excellent Customer Service Skills with ability to explain complicated claim issues to providers; ability to resolve conflict.
