On Site Education & Certification Programs

One-year prior food service and public contact experience. 

Accurate in meal service setup, garnishing and attractively arranging food.

Supports performance improvement and quality monitoring. Is active in performance improvement activities related to customer service.

Maintains temperature logs of cold foods served on Patient Tray line and cafeteria. Corrects temperature problems if not found adequate.

Accomplishes routine and priority tasks. Anticipates projects and seeks out other department members for direction to assure project runs smoothly.

Oversee and Manage Drivers duties

1 year or more experience in a food service role

Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience is a plus

ServSafe Food Handler certification is preferred

Experience with safety procedures as typical in a cafeteria or food service environment

Verify accurate counts of products and supplies

PRN – Non-Benefited Rotating Shift Schedule - weekends included

Rep Reports to Food Service Supervisor Patient Services Manager Food Service Director Vice President of Support Services

Must have or be pursuing high school diploma or equivalent four years of work-related experience

To accurately and rapidly ring meals on the cash register, while demonstrating good customer service.

To assist in collecting money for food sold in the cafeteria.
