Resolves complex cash and banking issues in a timely and professional manner. Prepares reconciliations, and researches discrepancies.

·Must prove to have a strong communication, organization, and reconciliation skills. Should have knowledge of Word Processing software.

·Must have computer training and/or experience with Microsoft programs.

·Distribute copies of the Explanation of Benefits to the appropriate collector in a timely manner

·Prepare deposit for data entry to post payments to the appropriate account.

·Assist data entry with balancing deposits.

·High school diploma or GED equivalency

Minimum 4+ years in Cash Application with 2+ years of supervisory/people management

Manage resolution of unapplied, over, and duplicate payments refunds and distribution

Resolve complex client issues and manage first-level escalations, while maintaining high standards for accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism

Partner with internal stakeholders and managers to identify areas of opportunities

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or relevant field is required

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Excellent communication, research, problem-solving, and time management skills

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred

2-4 years of relevant work experience required

Receivables automated lockbox system experience is a plus

Application of cash receipts in a high-volume manufacturing environment

Coordinate application of cash receipts from all sources including lockbox, wires, and ACH payments

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & TRAINING

High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Ability to work cooperatively with others and to function as a member of a team

Ensure that the monies posted to accounts receivable equal bank deposit and maintain records of cash application

Mark all denials with status code

Accurately post adjustments to accounts receivable

Post customer payments and manage payment applications in several ERP’s

Minimum job requirement - High School Diploma

Minimum experience required – Accounts Receivable cash application or account reconciliation experience preferred.
