1 year of procurement experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience

1 year of transportation experience

2 years of sales or customer service experience

Cultivate strong core carrier relationships while negotiating and securing carriers to move freight

Maintain continuous communication with carriers and customers to ensure a high-quality freight movement process

Leads new carrier development and current carrier maximum utilization efforts through strategic design and management of Capacity Development employees.

Reports business performance to leadership as needed to identify and control gaps in solution-based service offering to our customer base.

Assists and actively participates with training, education, and standardization of carrier program and processes.

3-5 years industry specific experience with carrier procurement/ operations

2+ years’ experience in a leadership position with direct reports

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including persuasion and negotiation.
