Cardiac Rehab Exercise Physiologist Jobs in Florida

Goal setting, education, exercise prescription/progression, and discharge planning.

3-5 Years Clinical Cardiac Experience

Clinical patient treatment for Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab patients involved in Phase I-III.

Specific duties include new patient assessment, on-going patient assessment, and development of Individual Treatment Plan.

Completing appropriate documentation/charges and communicates to physician as needed.

Supervises Cardiac and Pulmonary staff in the day to day operations.

Documents daily treatment notes, attendance records, group notes, patient/family education, and charges as needed.

Implements exercise programs in the plan of care.

Assists with transferring patients on/off equipment and provides assistance with adaptive positioning to maximize safety and performance.

Instructs all users of the facility in the proper operation of exercise equipment.

Monitors patient's performance and tolerance to program.

Collaborates with appropriate leader in modifying treatment as the patient's status changes.

Experience in an undergraduate cardiac rehabilitation/wellness center or one (1) year of practical experience.

One (1) year of experience in developing exercise prescriptions for high-risk populations in a hospital-based cardiac rehabilitation or wellness center program.

Bachelor's degree in exercise physiology

Must be able to read, write in, speak and understand English.
