Campus Dining Attendant Jobs

Minimum ten years prior food management experience, preferably as a District Manager, or in an academic setting.

Area and regional managers promoted from within to guide you.

Keeping the SAGE officers and senior managers fully apprised of issues in your district.

Writing clear and achievable budgets, setting reasonable expectations for both clients and managers.

Substantial culinary knowledge of trends, techniques, and processes.

Intermediate to advanced computer skills.

Demonstrated leadership skills with a broad knowledge of management practices, business judgement, and client/consumer interaction.

Collaborates with the Sales, Retention, and Finance teams on sales proforma and proposal development; participates in full sales and retention process

Established communication and teamwork skills to work with all levels on the organization from the front line associate through leadership.

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be adept across the following dimensions:

Serves as representative/brand ambassador of territory; attends client and community engagement events

Collaborates with partners to support district needs and solves problems by thinking through all angles and downstream impacts

IV. Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Basic knowledge of infection control procedures and universal precautions.

Loads waste materials onto trailer or designated dumpster or conveyance. Cleans and maintains the waste removal dock area including dumpsters.

Follows all departmental and medical center sanitation procedures.

Provides hospitable service and follows service recovery principles daily and consistently.

Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in written form.

At least 5 years of directly comparable experience in HR management experience is necessary.

A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education is required

Records maintenance skills is necessary.

Assist team members in understanding University policies and procedures, as appropriate, and ensures that departmental operations follow policies and standard practices.

Provide guidance and counseling to employees on various issues such as workplace stress, health and wellness, and potential conflicts of interest.

Work directly with central Human Resources and Employment Opportunity & Access to coordinate leave types, work accommodations and investigations.

Records appropriate data in logbook or electronic task management system.

Performs equipment washing, sanitizing, sterilization, and quality assurance testing according to task guide.

Properly disassembles equipment prior to, and reassembles following sanitation.

Performs flushes of automated water system manifolds on racks using the rack manifold flush Station.

Performs flushes on recoil hoses using recoil hose flush station.

Collects soiled equipment and removal of trash daily.

Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Certification(s)

Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) preferred.

One (1) food-service related experience preferred.

Set up food on self-serving lines and portion food for individual servings in accordance with instructions.

Refill cold bars, salad bars, pastry cabinets, condiments, juice dispensers, and set up dining rooms.
