Café Supervisor Jobs in New York

Computer skills required to fulfill management functions, including POS system operation and Microsoft Office suite.

Concession management experience a plus.

Maintain a purchasing budget and costs as directed by management.

Create and manage employee schedules.

Manage planning logistics for internal and external catering events including Center rentals.

Knowledge of POS system (Square knowledge a plus)

Approximately 2 years prior experience in a customer service related role

Receives payment by cash or credit cards. Issues receipts, refunds, credit or change due to customer.

Calculates total payments received during shift and reconciles with total sales.

Maintains a clean and orderly area.

Ensures guests receive friendly, courteous service at all times. Escalates issues as needed.

Demonstrate strong leadership and coaching abilities to develop bench strengths for future management positions with American Girl.

Support the Café Manager in managing, staffing, hiring, purchasing, inventories, and food/beverage service standards.

Support the Café Manager in maintaining strong corporate partnerships, execute corporate initiatives and maintain restaurant standards.

Current State Sanitation, Serve Safe, Safe Alcohol Consumption Certification, preferred.

Experience working with children, preferred.
