They must also be able to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams, as well as be familiar with the latest technology and equipment. Detailed Job Description Cable Installation Technicians are responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing cable systems for both residential and commercial customers. They must be knowledgeable in all aspects of cable installation, including wiring, splicing, and troubleshooting. They must also be able to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams, as well as be familiar with the latest technology and equipment. They must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
