Overview A Cabinet Builder is a skilled tradesperson who specializes in the construction of cabinets, shelves, and other storage solutions. Cabinet Builders use a variety of materials and techniques to create custom-made cabinets and other storage solutions for residential and commercial clients. Cabinet Builders must have a good understanding of carpentry, joinery, and cabinetmaking techniques, as well as the ability to read and interpret plans and drawings. Detailed Job Description Cabinet Builders are responsible for designing, constructing, and installing custom-made cabinets and other storage solutions for residential and commercial clients. They must be able to read and interpret plans and drawings, as well as use a variety of materials and techniques to create the desired product. Cabinet Builders must be able to measure accurately, cut and join materials, and assemble cabinets and other storage solutions. They must also be able to finish and install the cabinets, as well as provide advice and guidance to clients on the best storage solutions for their needs. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of carpentry, joinery, and cabinetmaking techniques
• Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings

Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to work with hand and power tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of carpentry, joinery, and cabinetmaking techniques

Job Experience
• Previous experience in cabinetmaking or related field
