Cabinet Maker Jobs

Tired of making the same cabnites over and over. We have an opportunity to make creative environments from wood, plywood, metal, plastics, and other materials. Our client makes displays for museums and other exhibits and brings to life interactive and informational presentations. You would be part of a family business that treats you like family and makes awesome displays come to life. Overtime is expected.
Note - Pay range is $21 - $26 / hourDOE and a great benefits package
Responsibilities

• Work with an array of standard and specialized materials including, but not limited to wood, plastic, acrylics, metals, laminate, solid surface, etc.
• Thorough working knowledge of OSHA regulations, practices, and precautions applicable to the trade.
• As a member of the installation team, travel to museum and exhibit locations around the US for extended periods can be expected.
• Assure quality workmanship consistent with project requirements and standards.
• Be able to read and manufacture shop drawings with minimal supervision and apply a working knowledge of the methods, equipment, materials, and tools to fabricate and install highly complex, craftsman-quality exhibits for the museum and exhibition industry.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; higher education desirable.
• Conduct themselves professionally with co-workers, supervisors, and all other team members
• Ability to interpret and work from sketches, blueprints, or detailed drawings.
• Knowledge and understanding of the hardware and building materials used in custom fabrication.
• Available to work overtime and weekends, as required.
• OSHA-10 or -30 Certification (Construction or General Industry) a plus.
• Minimum of five (5) years of custom fabrication experience in a shop environment.
