Sr Business Intelligence Analysis Developer Jobs in Iowa

Evaluate data to proactively identify opportunities that improve the team members’ experience and business outcomes.

Ensure upstream product model changes integrate well with our data model, and when it doesn’t build the necessary capabilities to adjust.

Strong problem solving skills to determine how best to employ multiple data sets and analytical methods to answer product development questions

Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Experience in communicating the results of an analysis to a variety of audiences

Experience working in Edtech or equivalent industries

Comprehensive, practical knowledge of research/collection tradecraft and analytical methods — to include intrusion analysis

Other technical security certifications or academic background, such as a graduate degree, are a plus.

Remote, with occasional travel. Must be located in the U.S. or Canada

Work From Home Work Environment

Define business requirements and functional specifications for a BI solution – including data and reporting/presentation layer requirements.

Strong experience with ETL development, data modeling, and data warehouse design

Experience creating and maintaining Business Objects Universes using both the Universe Design Tool (UDT) and the Information Design Tool (IDT)

3+ years of experience in pulling, manipulating and analyzing data. This includes writing SQL queries that create datasets for analysis.

Experience in sourcing and analyzing data from multiple sources to develop accurate and robust data sets for use in reporting

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

Experience in building reports and extracting data from Google Analytics a plus

Ability to work and communicate effectively with end-users to understand complex business reporting requirements
