Minimum of 10 years of transactional entertainment law experience at a major law firm, comparable studio, or corporation

Member of New York, California or other U.S. state bar

Advise on legal aspects of the company's financing and risk management.

Ability to identify, strategize, anticipate, and respond to a broad range of issues related to business, operations and risk management.

Experience in an industry with high focus on regulatory requirements (e.g. Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, Nutraceuticals, etc.)

Experience: Must possess 10+ years of experience managing complex legal activities, including areas of contracts, litigation, and general corporate business activities.

Leadership experience coaching, developing and overseeing the work of other attorneys in a corporate setting.

Experience working on matters of corporate governance and supporting an executive leadership team.

Exceptional accounting, finance, and analytical skills.

Ability to learn and apply new information, knowledge and experiences in a timely manner.

Provides cost benefit analysis for various projects as directed by senior university leadership.

Excellent ability to professionally manage multiple initiatives.

Strong written and oral communication skills are necessary.

Strong collaboration and consensus building skills.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in office administration and/or office management required.

Finance and project management background required.

Vendor management and contracts administration desired.

Minimum 3-5 years office support/business administration responsibilities required.

Working knowledge of mobile device usage preferred.

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Familiarity with cybersecurity, technology controls, information security, data privacy and protection, and data management.

Familiarity with global regulatory issues relevant to the use of technology in financial services, including cloud, outsourcing and third-party risk management.

Ability to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of personnel and management, including senior executives.

Strong analytical, problem-solving and legal research skills.

Global mindset and cross-border experience

Interface on a day-to-day basis with various internal teams (Creative, Production, Finance, etc.) and production personnel, as needed

Manage relationships with outside counsel

Experience managing a high-volume workload while operating autonomously within corporate parameters and deadlines.

Experience in managing, supervising and training personnel is a plus

Structure, negotiate, and draft development, production and distribution deals for scripted and unscripted programming for all film, television and digital licensees/platforms

Strong organizational and time management skills (with ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects)

At least eight years’ experience (combination of law firm and in-house preferred) handling large commercial transactions

Work experience in the gambling and/or sports sectors a plus

Strong interpersonal and communication skills (with ability to build consensus across diverse interest groups, and clearly and concisely convey complex concepts)

Skilled with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Juris Doctor degree from accredited law school
