Overview Building Maintenance Level 1 is responsible for performing basic maintenance and repair tasks in a variety of buildings. This includes performing minor repairs, painting, cleaning, and other related tasks. Detailed Job Description Building Maintenance Level 1 is responsible for performing basic maintenance and repair tasks in a variety of buildings. This includes performing minor repairs, painting, cleaning, and other related tasks. The Building Maintenance Level 1 must be able to work independently and as part of a team. They must be able to follow instructions and complete tasks in a timely manner. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of basic building maintenance and repair
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Ability to use ladders and scaffolding
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and customer service skills
Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in building maintenance and repair
• Valid driver’s license
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations
• Knowledge of safety procedures
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
Job Experience
• Previous experience in building maintenance and repair
Job Responsibilities
• Perform basic maintenance and repair tasks in a variety of buildings
• Inspect buildings for safety and maintenance issues
