Body Shop Customer Service Representative Jobs

May assist with parts and sublet invoice data entry into management software

The following knowledge, skills and abilities are needed to be successful in this position:

Update and Maintain contact notes in CCC One and Body Shop Management Software

Update Body Shop Management Software with accurate production status, projected delivery dates

Time Management – ability to manage one’s own time.

Take and prepare customer orders accurately and on time

Assign technicians to specific jobs in an order that meets productivity standards and the skill level of the technician

Interact with customers, walk-in, and by phone

Answering customer questions about service outcomes and consulting with technicians when necessary

Establish customer’s method of payment. Obtain insurance information, contact information, and customer deductibles if applicable. Obtain credit approval, if necessary.

For insurance work, communicate work supplements to customers and insurance adjusters and secure approval for additional work upon discovery.

Informing customers of changes in service or when their vehicle is ready to be picked up

Education and/or Experience (include certs or licenses needed)

Orders all parts and supplies as directed by the Manager.

Reports all unresolved customer complaints to Manager.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Retail or guest service experience preferred.

Must be able to maintain working knowledge of parts inventory.
