Familiar with licensing, accrediting, and regulatory requirements as they to health information management record completion and death certificates.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics

One (1) year of data entry experience. Is required.

Experience and knowledge of Medical Terminology. Is required

Two (2) years of registration, scheduling, and/or clerical experience. Is required.

Prior experience entering data into a state sponsored website, i.e., IDPH.

Prepare and mail all newborn birth certificates each day.

Process home birth registration requests and completed home birth registration packets daily.

Process current correction requests and the birth work queue daily.

Process hospital fee reports and home birth fee reports daily.

Provide birth registration guidance via telephone, email or in-person.

Process birth-death match, duplicate and other reports as instructed.
