Beverage Cocktail Server Jobs in New York

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include The Following

Responsible for prompt, efficient and courteous beverage service to guests in accordance with company policies, procedures and standards.

Accurately accounts for all revenue related to the sale or service of beverage products.

Monitors guest needs on a continual basis ensuring all beverage requests will be promptly fulfilled.

Performs with Bartenders, Barbacks, Supervisors, and pertinent project associates in producing a smoothly and efficiently run operation.

Maintains assigned area for cleanliness.

Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.

High school or equivalent education required.

Ensure station and table set-ups are complete and perform various side duties as assigned by the Restaurant Supervisor.

Participate in the serving of food

Participate in maintaining the cleanliness of the serving area.

Restock fruit and supplies needed for server use.

A skilled multi-tasker with a passion for customer satisfaction and knowledge of wines, beer, and cocktails.

Either have experience at or want to dive headfirst into a fast-paced transformative company in pursuit of excellence

Have excellent communication and relationship building skills

Process orders, bills, and payments

Attends to guests and address their inquiries and needs as requested

Coordinates with bar staff to ensure the availability of all beverages

Provide exceptional service - engaging with guests and anticipating needs while guiding their experience

Italian food and wine knowledge

Experience in New York Times 2- or 3-star restaurants preferred.

Experience in high-volume restaurants (2+ years Manhattan experience preferred)

Strong problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, ability to handle tense situations with coworkers and customers calmly and rationally
