OR equivalent combination of behavioral science education in addition to satisfactory supplemental behavioral health experience and training

OR minimum three (3) years of verifiable behavioral health experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs in a supervised setting;

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Uses a nurtured heart approach to provide supervision, behavior management, and counseling of the basic needs for the youth,

Responsibilities include leading resident group meetings, coordinating recreation activities, and participating in other group functions.

HS Diploma or equivalent AND 3-5 years' experience providing direct care to youth in a behavioral health agency or institutional setting

Functions as a role model of healthy interpersonal relationships and demonstrates appropriate behavior for patients, family, and staff.

Residential Counselors will build relationships and assist with developing our adolescence through support of behavior modules.

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & ABILITY:

Bachelor’s Degree in a human services discipline (preferred) OR a High School Diploma or Equivalent and 3 years of experience.

Good driving record with no more than 5 points

Ability to complete a physical, drug screen, and background check

At least 1 year of Behavioral Health experience required. Three years of Behavioral Health experience preferred.

Excellent teamwork, communication and collaboration skills.

Proven and demonstrated critical thinking skills.
