Behavioral Health Clinic Director Jobs in Texas

Demonstrated progressive experience in nursing management for a period of 2 – 5 years.

Manages human resources. Ensures systems are in place to provide for developmental needs of staff.

Demonstrates effective communications/human relations skills reflecting a team-oriented approach.

Experience: Required: 5-7 years in behavioral health service line.

Provides data and reports to Director for service line growth, fiscal stewardship, and clinical outcomes within defined timelines.

Promotes and ensures the service line demonstrates alignment with the systems mission, vision, and values.

Five years of mental health experience with at least two years’ experience in a leadership role.

Experience working in a for-profit hospital strongly preferred.

Working knowledge of Behavioral Healthcare codes in NM.

Possesses a unique knowledge regarding the patient population to be served.

2 years clinical experience as LVN preferred

Participates in gathering assessment data and jointly planning patient care within the scope of practice of an LVN.

Observes, assesses, plans, intervenes and evaluates outcomes and documents all aspects of patient care to assist in providing quality patient services.

Assists in establishing and maintaining an environment that is therapeutic for persons with mental illness.

Executes physician's orders for all assigned patients; administers medications and treatments and delivers population specific competent nursing care.
