Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in Pediatric Primary Care or Pediatric Behavioral Health.

Preference for Certification as a Pediatric Primary Care Mental Health Specialist (PMHNP-BC or PMHCNS)

Current active certification and licensure in the State of Florida as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant.

Maintains current BLS and PALS certification.

Effectively identify, evaluate, treat and follow-up patients in the practice in collaboration with supervising physicians.

Manages diagnostic tests through ordering, inter

Manages further diagnostic tests through ordering, interpretation, performance, and supervision.

Demonstrates Professional Practice behaviors including preceptor/mentoring, education and instruction of students, nursing staff, nurses, graduate, and novice APCs
