Detailed Job Description A Behavior Specialist is responsible for assessing and treating individuals with behavioral issues. They use a variety of techniques to assess and modify behavior, and to help people develop the skills they need to lead successful, productive lives. They work with individuals, families, and groups to identify and address the underlying causes of behavioral issues. They also provide education and support to help individuals and families manage their behavior. Job Skills Required
• Knowledge of behavior modification techniques

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field
• Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field
• Certification in behavior analysis
• Licensure as a behavior specialist
