Basketball Analytics Assistant I Jobs

Strong organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail required.

Handle administrative responsibilities, including processing confidential reports, tracking deadlines, managing purchase requests, and taking meeting notes.

Academic and/or Work experiences related to one or more of the following Journalism, Communications, or Public Relations.

Proficient in all Microsoft Office products and other related computer skills required.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on business writing skills.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects.

Maintains a current player roster, squad list, and player/parent ticket list at home and away games to meet compliance requirements.

Oversees and assigns off-the-field duties for student managers.

Stays abreast of compliance requirements and ensures all assigned tasks are in compliance with University, SEC Conference, and NCAA rules.

Coordinates team travel, including scheduling of practice sites, transportation, meal and hotel arrangements.

Orders and exchanges equipment for student athletes and maintains inventory control of equipment.

Consults with strength and conditioning and athletic training staff to ensure that student athletes adhere to training and nutrition regiments.

Ideal candidates will have one year of sports-related work experience or internship in a sports or entertainment environment or related field.

Must be an excellent multi-tasker and have proven problem-solving abilities.

One year experience working in a video or multimedia environment

Bachelor's degree with major coursework/experience in television, film, communications, or directly related field.

Two years experience working in a video or multimedia environment related to athletics.

Operate a variety of equipment such as video cameras, microphones, video/sound recording, and lighting equipment.

Assists in daily basketball practice duties of videotaping and editing for coaches for breakdown and study purposes.

Assists in producing highlight tapes for promotional recruitment and motivational use.
