Manages and/or provides appropriate support for support functions such as accounting/finance human resources information technology.

Responsible for the manufacture of safe quality foods that meet the requirements of all regulatory agencies and our customers

Years of Experience: 10+ years bakery production or related experience

Must have great collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work closely with cross-functional teams.

Solid technical knowledge of bakery manufacturing operations

Defines and directs the administration plant or facility policies within the framework and intent of the companys manufacturing charter.

Following all Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices

Keep work areas and equipment clean and safe

Participate in weekly sanitation and master sanitation schedules

Assist Sheeting Lead Operators with dough sheeting and molding

Make routine adjustments to high-speed industrial processing, packaging, casing, and palatizing equipment and machinery to maintain product quality and production schedules.

Follow production schedule; read and follow formulas; enter data into program and on paper

Ensure that customers receive the best customer service by providing friendly, polite, and knowledgeable service

Maintain full knowledge of Bakery product line and pricing

Be knowledgeable about Adams product- recommend ideas to customers by exploring customer preferences and advocating Adams product

Greet customers personally and thank them appreciatively for shopping at Adams

Take customer orders both in person and on the phone

Package fresh baked goods for sale

Ensure that customers receive the best customer service by providing friendly, polite, and knowledgeable service

Maintain full knowledge of Bakery product line and pricing

Be knowledgeable about Adams product- recommend ideas to customers by exploring customer preferences and advocating Adams product

Train and develop associates on performance and participate in the performance review process.

Assist store management in preparing the store/department budget, profit/loss reviews, and take appropriate action on all financial reports.

Develop adequate scheduling to manage customer volume.

Inform customers of bakery specials and offer product samples to help customers discover new items.

High school education or equivalent

Promote trust and respect among associates with a positive attitude.

Communicate company, department, and job specific information to associates.

Ability to follow directions and procedures; effective time management and organization skills.

General computer skills and basic knowledge of software applications (MS Office Suite).

Completes the Team Trainer Operational Learning Pathway, Team Trainer Certification, and other assigned training.

Working knowledge of Whole Foods Market’s learning systems.

Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.

Provides feedback to Bakery Manager and Bakery Assistant Manager regarding evening Bakery associates’ performance.

Communicates and works cooperatively with department manager and other bakery associates to maintain standards and exceed guest expectations

Assists sales/service clerks with packaging, labeling, filling, rotating, and removing product while leading by example

Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to handle a diverse crew in a highly stressful environment.

Complete understanding of all safety requirements and company safety policies.

$ 18.75 to $ 19.75 / hour

Various shifts available ( Sunday through Saturday from 03:00pm to 11:30pm )

Operates processing and/or packaging equipment in the food manufacturing facility.

Machine Operator properly mixes all varieties of product in a manner to insure consistency and quality within QA and R&D specifications.

Provides accurate recordkeeping of lot codes, batches and all required data.

Responsible for operating equipment used in preparation, mixing, and finishing product.
