Overview Automotive Mechanical Claims Adjusters are responsible for evaluating and settling claims related to mechanical damage to vehicles. They investigate the cause of the damage and determine the extent of the repairs needed, as well as the cost of the repairs. They also negotiate with repair shops and other parties to ensure that the repairs are done in a timely and cost-effective manner. Detailed Job Description Automotive Mechanical Claims Adjusters are responsible for evaluating and settling claims related to mechanical damage to vehicles. They investigate the cause of the damage and determine the extent of the repairs needed, as well as the cost of the repairs. They also negotiate with repair shops and other parties to ensure that the repairs are done in a timely and cost-effective manner. They must be knowledgeable about the different types of mechanical damage and the various repair options available. They must also be able to assess the damage and determine the best course of action. Job Skills Required
