Oversee that FDA, EU, and ISO standard requirements are documented to maintain compliance for the personal care industry.

Establishing, coordinating & managing external analytical capabilities/partners to ensure timely assessment of product quality.

Strong attention to detail, observation, organizational, and leadership skills.

In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures, equipment, and industry standards.

Thorough knowledge of microbiological analytical methods, and compendial requirements (USP, EP, JP). Knowledge of biologics and manufacturing processes.

Familiarities with all microbiological compendial methods for specific commercial products. Maintains records of method qualification/validation and other microbiological-related methods.

Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, LIMS, SAP).

Prior experience in a QC microbiology testing laboratory.

Demonstrable experience with cGMP and regulatory compliance (FDA, EMA, and other international agencies).

Minimum Education bachelor’s degree in microbiology or related science degree or technical field.

The Quality Control will perform routine auditing, equipment calibration, record keeping and overall verification that production areas requirements.

Organizational skills with great attention to detail

Quality Control or Quality Assurance Experience preferred.

Third Shift (Monday through Thursday from 08:00pm to 06:30am)

Assure that every aspect of batch record is documented completely.

Monitor overall plant sanitation and conduct swabbing as required by production.

Expert people and project management skills

Experienced understanding and application of manufacturing principles governed by current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and solid knowledge of worldwide regulatory requirements

Expert knowledge of quality risk assessment and management methodologies, including successful application and risk remediation.

Serve as a key business partner to senior manufacturing management teams focusing on strategic issues across multiple sites.

Regularly interact with Gilead’s senior management and Quality Assurance on matters concerning quality.

Extensive knowledge and experience in quality in highly regulated manufacturing environments is required.

High attention to detail with good time management and organizational skills.

Fulfill requests from management or designee for assistance in other matters as needed.

2+ years of relevant experience in a non-educational laboratory setting.

Perform testing on machinery/ jobs

Inspect for defects, coordinate staging, and inventory

Assist in identifying new SOP implementation

Measuring ability (ruler, measuring tape, caliper, QA lab equipment)

Good typing and computer skills

Coordinate utility requests with utility providers through phone, email, fax, and online

Monitor automated internal utility processing software

Input data from bills into company software

Recognize and research abnormalities within bills

Collaborate with other team members to resolve bill issues in a timely manner
