Overview Autism Behavior Support is a specialized field of work that focuses on providing support to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). This support can include providing guidance and assistance to individuals with ASD in order to help them develop skills and behaviors that are necessary for successful functioning in everyday life. Detailed Job Description Autism Behavior Support professionals work with individuals with ASD to help them develop and maintain positive behaviors and social skills. This includes providing guidance and assistance in areas such as communication, self-care, problem solving, and social interaction. Autism Behavior Support professionals also provide support to families and caregivers of individuals with ASD, helping them to better understand and manage the behaviors of their loved ones. Job Skills Required
• Knowledge of autism spectrum disorder and its associated behaviors

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, special education, or a related field
• Master’s degree in psychology, special education, or a related field
• Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
• Licensure as a behavior analyst
• Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder

• Knowledge of autism spectrum disorder and its associated behaviors
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices
