Detailed Job Description Autism Behavior Support professionals work with individuals with ASD to help them develop and maintain positive behaviors and social skills. This includes providing guidance and assistance in areas such as communication, self-care, problem solving, and social interaction. Autism Behavior Support professionals also provide support to families and caregivers of individuals with ASD, helping them to better understand and manage the behaviors of their loved ones. Job Skills Required

• Knowledge of autism spectrum disorder and its associated behaviors

• Ability to develop and implement behavior support plans

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Patience and understanding

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, special education, or a related field

• Master’s degree in psychology, special education, or a related field

• Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

• Licensure as a behavior analyst

• Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder

Job Knowledge

• Knowledge of autism spectrum disorder and its associated behaviors

• Knowledge of evidence-based practices

• Knowledge of the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
