Authorizations Manager Jobs

Explain benefits and cost sharing information (i.e., deductibles and copayments) to clients.

Utilize Central Reach for data entry of client authorizations for funding of services provided by Learn providers.

Minimum of 1-2 years Administrative Work Experience

Work in conjunction with internal departments and clients to update eligibility and coverage and resolve any funding related issues as needed.

High School Diploma; Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Ability to multitask and maintain thoroughness

Energetic working environment, both in-person and remote

Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience preferred

Customer service phone experience preferred

Excellent customer services and clear verbal communication skills

Knowledgeable of MS Office: word, excel, outlook

This position must pass a post-offer pre-employment criminal background check.

Managed care experience in a care coordination role

Previous experience with PBM benefit verifications

Manages the referrals process, processes incoming and outgoing referrals, and prior authorizations.

2+ years of supervisory experience

2+ years of data input or healthcare background experience

Previous experience with PBM billing

3 – 5 years of prior management experience.

Previous experience working in a managed care organization or clinical management.

Knowledge of NCQA and URAC utilization management standards.

Maintain up to date knowledge on current clients including benefit and plan limitations.

Develop and utilize statistical techniques to evaluate trends and to manage staff performance to drive behaviors.

Identify, develop and implement best practices to ensure improved efficiency, cost effectiveness, and that contractual requirements are met and/or exceeded.
