Athletics Coach Jobs in Ohio

Has a thorough knowledge of interscholastic athletics and the Oak Hill School, Harpeth Valley Conference, and TSSAA, athletic mission and policies

Stays current in all required sport specific and school mandated certifications

Follows established procedures in the event of an athlete’s injury.

Communicates immediately and follows established procedure in the event of a disciplinary, safety, health, or football issue.

Follows school, state, regional, and district regulations governing the athletic program.

Models good sportsmanship behavior and maintains appropriate conduct towards players, officials, and spectators.

Knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the sports program

Knowledge of athletic recruitment, methods and techniques

Knowledge of NJCAA regulations and guidelines governing recruitment and retention of student athletes

Strong interpersonal, communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community

Organizes, prepares, and conducts individual and team practices, training, and competition

Recruits student-athletics in accordance with NJCAA rules and regulations through scouting, attending tournaments, and home visits
