Athletic Assistant Jobs in Idaho

Coordination of support personnel for all athletic contests, including game management, ticket sales, security, athletic trainer and emergency personnel and apparatus.

Supervision of the athletic coaches.

The development of the interscholastic athletic schedules and officials schedules for all contests.

The coordination of transportation for all athletic contests.

To evaluate appropriate rules and regulations governing the code of conduct at athletic activities.

Fostering good school-parent relations by maintaining communications relative to rules and regulations on athletics.

Organize and coordinate event management for assigned sports as well as assist other SIDs when needed.

Basic knowledge and experience of journalism or media/public relations

Problem-solving skills involving groups and/or events

Basic knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations regarding compliance issues

One (1) year of full-time experience in a collegiate or professional sports media relations office.

Demonstrated experience working directly with a Division I football program or NFL franchise.

Experience in athletic administration, with emphasis in; event planning, program management, promotions, and marketing

Experience in intercollegiate athletics preferably in game management or events

3 years experience working in a NAIA or NCAA athletic department or conference

3 years experience in Intercollegiate athletics

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited college or university

Experience with oversight and management of personnel.

Administration of large-scale highly visible game management from a media relations standpoint.

Working knowledge and experience administering a championship-level athletic event.

Demonstrated knowledge of and compliance with NCAA, conference, and university rules and regulations.

Experience and understanding of media operations and deadlines, with a background in journalism/public relations.

Basic computer knowledge and competency.
