Fluency in accounting software and in Salesforce, and knowledge of database management and customization

Evaluate and, as necessary, upgrade and improve the organization’s database and information management infrastructure in Salesforce and other relevant systems

Finance/ accounting qualification is preferred (e.g. CPA or equivalent) but not required

Provides strategic direction of all financial functions, including accounting, budget, credit, insurance, tax, and treasury.

Works with stakeholders, and the executive team to implement financial plans, productivity benchmarks, and to monitor progress toward financial goals.

Ensures robust financial controls are in place across P&L that support growth in a rapidly changing environment.

Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.

Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

Prepare financial statements, management reports, and board-level presentations to provide visibility into the company's financial performance.

Manage and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA preferred).

Collaborate with upper management to review and identify gaps between business goals and performance

Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance or accounting

10+ years of relevant work experience, including CPG and large retailers

Exceptional leadership and communication skills

Prior experience with financial software systems

Provide guidance to other functional areas as they analyze business decisions and generate reports

Manage lending, cash forecasting, bank management

Manage the development of custom databases, analyzing data from multiple systems to support other responsibilities and to develop business intelligence.

Manage banking relationships, business insurance and assist with managing employee benefits programs.

Conduct profitability, managerial accounting, and attribution analysis to aid in cost and budget management

10+ years’ progressive experience in Finance/Accounting; National (‘Big 4’ or similar accounting experience preferred)
