2+ years of structured products valuation experience

Demonstrated proficiency with Python, VBA and Excel with specific knowledge of data query formation and reporting

Strong knowledge of structured product and derivative asset classes - ABS, MBS, Interest Rate Swaps, Futures, Swaptions, Currency Forwards, etc.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Perform valuation analysis and risk reporting across a variety of structured asset classes (ABS, MBS, Derivatives, etc.)

Develop daily liquidity risk and VaR calculations

Bachelor’s degree (in Finance a plus)

Minimum of 3-5+ years valuation experience

Manage iLevel data collection platform and analytics software tool

Work with third party appraisers to obtain real estate property appraisals and perform fund level valuations

Maintain data set used for preparation of company valuations including tracking private company financials, financings, cap tables, and projections as needed

Consult with investment associates and senior team on a regular basis to gather company updates and feedback for valuation analysis

Prepare summary exhibits and assist with the quarterly valuation committee meetings to discuss proposed valuations and garner approval

Provide audit and investor relations support for portfolio company valuation related queries

3-5 years of experience in public accounting or valuation firm

Extensive Excel skills and an understanding of financial statements analysis with the ability to work through key assumptions

Knowledge of Bloomberg and S&P Capital IQ

Analyze financial statements and other relevant financial information of investment companies to monitor performance and update models using standard valuation methodologies

Assist in the preparation of valuation committee materials and interact with third-party valuation firms and auditors for quarter-end and/or year-end reviews
