Associate Facilities Engineer Jobs

High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Minimum of four years of related progressive experience and/or training in facilities management.

Facility Management certification is desired

Supporting the Sr. Manager of Building Operations with day-to-day operations of the distribution facility.

Proactively inspecting facility, grounds, and equipment and report any issues to the Sr. Manager of Building Operations and Maintenance Department

Providing department oversight in the absence of the Sr. Manager of Building Operations

Works with on-site security team to manage security issues and problems to come to resolution

Minimum age requirement of 21

Cleaning Men’s and Women’s bathrooms on a daily basis

Emptying desks and office trash

Cleaning break room on a daily basis

Errands as assigned by office personnel

Stocking supplies for bathrooms and break room

Ensures all facility systems meet the requirements of national and local codes (i.e. OSHA, NFPA, NEC, DHEC, etc.)

Specific areas of knowledge include:

Provides technical assistance to production when requested for difficult facility equipment troubleshooting.

Assists other functional areas, Distribution, Manufacturing, Sales, Quality, Marketing, Development, IT etc. as needed with technical expertise.

Assists in the design/development and implementation of new manufacturing facilities, equipment, and processes.

Coordinates project work with outside contractors and equipment suppliers, as well as internal facilities, maintenance, and operations teams.
