KOL Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with KOLs, healthcare professionals, and relevant stakeholders in the field of cardiology

Scientific Support: Provide scientific support at medical conferences, symposia, and advisory boards. Facilitate discussions and engage in scientific exchange.

Demonstrated project management experience and/or equivalent training or certification

Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and from conception to completion

Stay current with relevant scientific literature, clinical guidelines, and regulatory requirements to ensure accurate and up-to-date knowledge

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Merchandising, and Product, to ensure alignment and coordination of scientific and educational initiatives

Support the development and review of scientific materials, including educational resources, presentations, and publications

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders

Our Medical Science Liaison's responsibilities includes:

Experience in the CNS/Psychiatry therapeutic area required.

3-5 years’ experience in field-based medical role with a pharmaceutical or biotechnology company

Expertise and experience in allergy, immunology, cardiology, cardiometabolic and/or rare disease therapeutic areas

Identify and forge professional peer-to-peer relationships with national, regional and local key opinion leaders

Align and execute field activities in support of Medical Affairs strategic plan

Identify and communicate research gaps, opportunities and relevant field intelligence to inform medical strategy

Manage administrative responsibilities (e.g., Veeva CRM, voicemail, e-mail, expense reports, compliance modules) in a timely manner

Maintain in-depth knowledge of assigned therapeutic area and Novartis compounds to serve as a medical resource to field matrix colleagues

Proactively manage personal and professional development

Advanced Scientific degree or equivalent experience required. (PharmD, MD, DO, PhD, or DNP strongly preferred)

Previous experience in the rheumatology or related area is strongly preferred.

Previous experience in a MSL Field Medical based position is also preferred.

1+ years of relevant experience in womens health/psychiatry/neurology with relevant clinical, scientific, and/or industry medical affairs experience in womens health/psychiatry/neurology.

Significant experience and demonstrated track record of success in working independently, self-managing priorities and multi-tasking projects.

Experience with web-based project management tools (such as Workfront, MS Project) a plus

Minimum 3 years’ experience as a medical writer and/or content developer/editor for a medical education/communications company

Quickly acquire up-to-date knowledge of specific disease states, as needed

Possessing strong problem-solving skills to independently and quickly deal with unforeseen issues to ensure that timelines are consistently met

Excellent editorial (editing and writing) skills, preferably in online publishing and text manuscript development; familiarity with AMA style

Effective written and verbal communication skills (English; additional languages a plus)

Pharmaceutical industry experience or medical liaison experience, with general medicine or infectious disease therapeutics a plus.

Above average computer literacy, including experience with software applications

Prior pharmaceutical industry experience as a Medical Liaison or Clinical Trial Liaison preferred

Clinical training experience preferred in:

Rare disease experience or prior experience in hepatology and/or gastroenterology preferred

Current knowledge of FDA, OIG, and PhRMA code related to compliant scientific exchange

Develop, maintain, and manage collaborations with regional and national KOLs, investigators, study staff, nurses, pharmacists, and office managers.

A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience of which direct or indirect PH and/or pharmaceutical/biotech experience is preferred.

Create awareness of Liquidia and YUTREPIA in the PH community

Assist in the development of strategic KOL plans to provide needs-based, value-added services.

Serve as a local medical/scientific resource for the medical community in PH

Develop a deep understanding of the current PH literature and provide presentations to a broad variety of PH stakeholders.

Engage in discussions regarding evolving trends in disease state management, trends in therapy.

Maintain medical and scientific knowledge and staying current to enable peer-to-peer scientific exchange.

Educational Background: Master’s Degree in Health-Related Sciences

Trusted advisor for scientific exchange to Key External Experts (KEEs) and stakeholders throughout the product life cycle.

Responsible for gathering data from the field that generates medical insights.

Serve as a link between external experts and internal product management and internal business development, as needed

Provide non promotional speaker training to health care professionals to support education to the healthcare community

Experience in the field of biomedical optics and imaging techniques, experience with Topcon technology is a plus

Experience with research design and implementation a plus

Experience in public speaking and moderating public discussions
