Associate Category Management Planner Jobs

1-3 years’ experience in Merchandising, Inventory Management, Planning and Allocation, Forecasting or Retail Operations

Collaborate with Category Management on the impact of new product introductions, including forecast rationale, performance vs. forecast, and margin assessment.

Recommend opportunities for sku rationalization, in conjunction with Category Management.

Exceptionally strong MS Excel capabilities including experience building templates, tools, macros, complex formulations

Preferred experience in ecommerce/marketplace environment

Strong analytical skills paired with strategic business acumen and flexible out of the box thinking

Work in conjunction with the Business Vertical VP to develop the goals of the Category Management team

You’re analytical: You let data win arguments, and you’re comfortable pulling your own data in SQL or modeling in Excel

Serve as the lead point of contact for all educators' account management matters.

Interacting with cross function teams (marketing, finance, tech etc.) and also with category leaders

Build and maintain strong relationships with educators through effective interpersonal skills.

Being detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a demanding, fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of the online shopping industry, particularly with marketplaces & marketplace sellers

Strong personal presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills

Numerical analysis and project management experience

In season management and execution of basic assortment exit strategies for resets
