A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) License; Certified Public Financial Officer designation; and/or Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) Certification is preferred.
A bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a closely related field (master’s degree preferred).
Previous public financial administration, accounting and/or budget experience is required. Supervisory experience is preferred.
