Overview The Assistant Superintendent is responsible for providing leadership and support to the school district in the areas of curriculum, instruction, and assessment. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs and initiatives that support the district's mission and goals. The Assistant Superintendent will also provide guidance and support to school administrators, teachers, and staff in the areas of curriculum, instruction, and assessment. Detailed Job Description The Assistant Superintendent is responsible for providing leadership and support to the school district in the areas of curriculum, instruction, and assessment. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs and initiatives that support the district's mission and goals. The Assistant Superintendent will also provide guidance and support to school administrators, teachers, and staff in the areas of curriculum, instruction, and assessment. The Assistant Superintendent will also be responsible for developing and implementing professional development programs for teachers and staff, and for monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of these programs. The Assistant Superintendent will also be responsible for developing and implementing assessment systems that measure student learning and progress. Job Skills Required

Job Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Education or related field
• Minimum of five years of experience in educational administration
• Valid state teaching certificate or administrator’s license
• Demonstrated leadership and management skills
