Overview Assistant Sports Information Directors are responsible for providing support to the Sports Information Director in the promotion and marketing of the school's athletic program. They are responsible for creating and maintaining a positive image of the school's athletic program through the use of various media outlets. They also assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies, coordinate media relations, and provide support for special events. Detailed Job Description Assistant Sports Information Directors are responsible for providing support to the Sports Information Director in the promotion and marketing of the school's athletic program. This includes creating and maintaining a positive image of the school's athletic program through the use of various media outlets. They are also responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies, coordinating media relations, and providing support for special events. They must be able to effectively communicate with the media, coaches, and players. They must also be able to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. Job Skills Required

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of various media outlets and marketing strategies
