Assistant Plant Supervisor Jobs in Iowa

Relevant experience with high hazard process and process safety management

Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.

Oversee production outcomes, quantity and quality to ensure customer and food safety requirements are within specifications.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

Minimum of four years of related work experience

4+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment

Bachelor's degree (B.S.) preferably a B.S. in Food Science, Engineering, Business Management or equivalent work experience

Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.

Time management, attention to detail, active listening, decision-making, organizational, verbal and written skills required.

Excellent interpersonal skills required to include; coaching, prioritization, team-building, training, emotional intelligence, and conflict management.

Manage a leadership team in achieving daily production goals.

Excellent problem solving and reasoning skills required.

3-5 years quarry management experience.

A Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience required.

Knowledge of MSHA laws and commitment to safety.
