Current State Licensure in the state where practicing is required. Current CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification are required.

Current First Aid certification is required or must be willing and able to become First Aid certified.

Previous experience of 2-4 years of a Nurse Manager in a hospital of comparable size and/or accountability.

Licensure: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Missouri.

10+ years' experience in veterinary medicine (previous experience in veterinary emergency is strongly preferred)

Collaborate with RND colleagues; Operation and Medical Operations to build functionally excellent, proficient nursing leadership

Supervises assigned management staff. Provides necessary education, orientation and support to management team.

Prior proven experience and expertise in management, having had a leadership position for at least 1 year.

Maintains knowledge of documentation requirements needed for employees' files and patients' records.

Participates in national professional and related organizations to ensure current knowledge of operations.

Minimum 3-5 years clinical experience.

Leads and promotes evidence-based practice and research among unit leaders and staff.

Make recommendations for personnel actions, course offerings, course scheduling, and program development

Engage with local nursing community to determine specific needs to ensure all programs remain relevant to current demand and standards

Assist with teaching assignments (clinical and didactics) as needed

Responsible for maintaining and submitting appropriate Louisiana State Practical Nursing Board reports in conjunction with PN Program Coordinators and faculty

Collaborate with Campus Directors in assessing instructor effectiveness

Serve on various committees as assigned and needed

2+ years of management experience

Excellent management and communication skills

3+ years of sales management or equivalent

Hire, train, manage and coach members of nursing sales organization to achieve desired outcomes

Manage, implement and execute the nursing sales strategy

Experience using Microsoft Office or Google office tools

Excellent understanding of state and federal regulations governing skilled nursing facilities.
