Overview Assistant Features Editor is responsible for assisting the Features Editor in the production of feature articles for a magazine or newspaper. This includes researching, writing, editing, and proofreading feature stories, as well as helping to develop ideas for new features. Detailed Job Description The Assistant Features Editor will work closely with the Features Editor to produce feature stories for the magazine or newspaper. This includes researching and writing feature stories, editing and proofreading them, and helping to develop ideas for new features. The Assistant Features Editor will also be responsible for coordinating with other departments, such as the art department, to ensure that the feature stories are properly illustrated. Additionally, the Assistant Features Editor will be responsible for helping to manage the features section of the magazine or newspaper, including ensuring that deadlines are met and that the content is of the highest quality.
